Atlantic Breath

This watercolour is inspired by the slow rhythm of the Atlantic against the cliffs of the Canary Islands — the steady inhale and release of swell against rock that you can hear from any cliff path. Cool washes of blue and pale grey rise and fall across the paper, with darker accents marking the moments where the water meets stone. The piece is quieter than most in the series — paper-thin, almost weather-light. It belongs in rooms where you'd like a bit of fresh air pinned to the wall.
