“Mosaic in a Rhythm of Archipelago”
The painting presents a mosaic-like interpretation of a sunset over the Canary Islands. The composition is built from horizontal and vertical bands of color, resembling fragments of different moments from the same evening. Vibrant yellows and greens blend with blues and turquoise tones of the ocean, creating a fresh, almost spring-like atmosphere.
The palette subtly echoes Van Gogh’s expressive color intensity and visible brush energy, while the structure remains more geometric and simplified. It is a sunset broken into rhythmic segments of light, as if several fleeting moments were captured at once.
