Sea Chakra – Naranja

This painting is part of the "Sea Chakras" series, inspired by the energy of the Atlantic Ocean surrounding the Canary Islands. In Naranja, sun-warmed orange tones flood across the composition like the moment when the late-afternoon sun hits the surface of the water and the whole sea seems briefly lit from below.
The piece carries the heat-pole of the series — a chakra of vitality, appetite, presence. It is the painting of Atlantic afternoons in Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, when the wind drops and the water turns gold. Energising on a wall.
