Sea Chakra – Roja

This painting is part of the "Sea Chakras" series, inspired by the energy of the Atlantic Ocean surrounding the Canary Islands. Roja takes the series to its hottest, most charged register — deep reds layered with darker undertones, evoking volcanic seabeds and the pressure that builds where ocean meets fire.
The piece is about elemental tension: water and lava, the cool surface and the heat far below. It is the most dramatic of the chakras and works best when given space — a wall of its own, a room it can quietly dominate.
