Sea Chakra – Roja II

This painting is part of the "Sea Chakras" series, inspired by the energy of the Atlantic Ocean surrounding the Canary Islands. Roja II is the companion to Roja — same heat, slightly different temper. The reds here move differently across the surface: a few extra notes of orange and crimson change the whole feeling, the way a slight shift in current changes the colour of the sea.
Together with Roja, the two pieces make a natural pair — but this one stands well on its own too. It belongs in any space where you want a piece that radiates rather than recedes.
